Ioheimry
Ioheimry (singular), Ioheimryn (plural) are the elves of Ioheim. They are a xenophobic people, not very welcoming to those not bearing the Mark, the symbol that shows them to be citizens of Ioheim. They will be polite, but they won't let strangers close unless they bear the permanent Mark.
Ioheim has a tenuous past with dragons, and are suspicious of any dragon-related species. They have had more than one war against the dragons, particularly the avariel, who can't share the sky with the dragons. They are as a result fairly knowledgable in the ways of battling dragons.
As Ioheim is a closed country, trade with the rest of the world is very limited. As such, their crafts are very sought after by citizens of other nations. It is seen as a status symbol to own something from Ioheim, even if it's the plainest of seashells.
Ioheim produces most of the things that they use themselves, and rarely import from other nations. Their main import is wood, so they won't cut down too much of their own trees. However, they do sell items to the other nations as a way to build up a reserve of foreign money in case it ever becomes needed. They spread out the vaults in various places as a way to not lure dragons to their home; they have already fought off dragon attacks in the past. But some day they might need to purchase war ships, or lure a dragon to an assailants location.
They export a various number of things, such as tapestries woven by their second-best weavers, who are almost as good as the best. They export wine, watered down as it is generally too strong for those not raised on the drink. There is the wallpapers, with beautiful patterns and extraordinary quality. They export toys, and then it's generally those not considered perfect enough to sell in their own country, though other people can almost never see any flaws in the imperfect toys.
