The Boiling Rock

A city built onto an active volcano, a very high strung, city of skilled craftsmen, while still holding onto their independence from the Empire they are slowly falling into their grasp. The volcanic flows make this town notorious for their high quality gunpowder being able to infuse the local sulfur into their mix. Outside of the bounds of the city lie a volcanic badlands with the sparse calm shore interspersed. When traveling this island one could find acidic geysers, magma flows, and to those brave enough to climb the mountain, certain death.
