The Order of the Star

The Order of the Star is a small palidic order originating within the Elstree Kingdom; they have been banished from the Elven homeland for dozens of years ever since refusing an order of the Empress. The Order of the Star have been operating from a fortress hidden in the North of Icelia from which they work to protect the Elven people in the Black Gulf. Their primary oath is dedication to the protection of the Elven people. The Order is non-religious but they do encourage their members to worship some of the Seldarine although that is not from where they draw their power. The Order of the Star is empowered by an ancient undispellable act of Elven High Magic which binds a small part of the Elven people into a divine energy with which protects and empowers the Order of the Star. Ever since their banishment they have upheld their oath from outside of their homeland. The Order is saddened by the current state which prevents the revisiting of their homeland but as most Elves understand they must be patient for all things.
