The Hourglass of Silver Sand
This object is an hourglass, blown out of glass with a light blue tint near the ends. Each bulb of the hourglass is formed into a teardrop shape. The sand within is silver and has a slight sparkle in the light. While the glittering of the sand in regular light is beautiful, when hit by moon- or starlight it becomes breathtaking.
It is unknown if this stunning item has more uses than a simple time piece, but for now it remains a centerpiece for awkward small talk.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
This hourglass has two teardropped shaped bulbs connected at the center with a narrow neck to allow for the passing of the internal sand to indicate the passage of time.
