Candor (CAN-DOOR)

The Proud Nation

The nation of Candor is a human territory covering one corner of Eblesh, ruled over by King Gabriel Credence who is widely regarded as a fair but firm leader. Although it is a mostly human inhabited land, most towns and cities will welcome outsiders with open arms.

The Order Of Kingsmortals

Long ago when candor was just forming a group of holy men prayed to the god Pelor for bountiful harvests of wheat and barley in the dry and poor lands of south west Eblesh, to their delight the next day full fields of crops had sprouted and it became the base of the capital city Brownbach. The Kingsmortals are a paladin order filled with descendendants of those men who safeguard the king of Candor and assist their god in healing the world of all evil.

Akordan

Akordan, otherwise known as Prince's Home, is a large heavily packed city with a strong military presence. Prince Damian Credence rules over the city itself, however whenever his older brother arrives within the city limits all that power is passed to him for the duration of the visit. The city's population is mostly made up of the entire Candorian military, mostly because of the civil unrest of peasants who wish to dethrone the prince and leave all decision making to the king.

Bluebeach

Bluebeach is named from the blue glass-like sand that travels across its coast. The city is also home to the single largest port in all of Eblesh, with over twenty docks for every type of vessel both sea and sky. However in spite of this Bluebeach has no naval ships and all the boats that are property of the state are escort vessels, being used to guide new tourists and navigate the complex docking system. Although the city follows the same laws and regulations from the king, all trading, goods and city taxes are decided by the city councillors.

Brownbach

Brownbach, also known as the lonely city is an island completely surrounded by water sitting in lake Britani. King Gabriel Creedence resides in the city and has done since the day he was born, Credence has only ever left his home in Candor once, when he went to discuss an alliance with King Goldcrest of Grosetto and it nearly cost him his life due to multiple assassination attempts after declining the overlord’s offer.

Fairburn Point

Fairburn point, although not a city, is a large and eerie town on the eastern shoreline of candor. The town has a label of being known for having standoffish inhabitants who don’t like outsiders. The town elects a mayor once every ten years, who will sort out any problems within Fairburn however there is a rumour that there are cultists hidden all over the town, secretly controlling and manipulating from the shadows.   If you ask any of the residents of Fairburn if there is any cult activity in their town they'll out right deny it and probably refuse to talk to you.

King Gabriel Credence

Gabriel was born the first son of King Harold Credence and lead a life of luxury. His childhood was mostly spent within the confines of his home, studying world history and practicing the art of the sword. Despite his brother Damian being five years younger than Gabriel, growing up the two were close, often preferring to stay close than to spend time with other children in the palace. Even though Damian moved to Ackordan to take place on the governing the poor, the two remain close, spending time together alone whenever they are given the chance. More recently Gabriel has become concerned with Damian’s actions regarding revolts in Ackordan, believing his brother has been too soft on the rioters.   Despite being raised to be tolerant of other peoples and cultures Gabriel has always prided himself on his virtue and righteousness, considering himself to have royal blood and therefore superior to the people he leads. Damian however has an exuberant amount of empathy for the lower classes and Gabriel uses his brother as an ambassador to the people, understanding that his little brother is more understanding to the troubles of the people.
