G’rukak
The Pure Orc Lands
Home to travelling tribes of orcs, some as small as families, others as large as armies capable of storming a city, the orc lands are a dangerous and fearsome plain of grassland. However not all these tribes are solely orc, they will also include other races if those wishing to join can prove their might. The G’rukak Camp
Some tribes do not roam and instead have established settlements, the largest being G’rukak, named after the hulking chieftain G’rukak many heads (named for the many dwarf skulls that dangle around his neck). Chieftain G’rukak has lived for nearly thirty years as the ruler of his campment. There is only one rule they live by: The Strongest Orc Wins. This has led to much fighting within the camp, but none have ever bested the Chieftain. The next in line to take his place is most likely one of his three sons: M’trano, Vri’com and Li’krag. While most other orcs have surnames, the lineage of the mighty G’rukak do not. They believe their first names alone must strike fear into the hearts of their enemies, and not the accomplishments of their ancestors. The Vadok Rogtar
The Vadok Rogtar clan are one of the largest roaming clans in G’rukak, under the feared rulership of Chieftain Narluk Fundvuras. The Vadok Rogtar have much more of a hierarchy within their campment, and have generals who keep the clan in line. Narluk’s most trusted general is Brogzon Hokurdoram, a mighty orc with hands like tree stumps. The tribe also value strength above all else, the weak are not worthy of being a part of it. Even if you are born into the tribe you must earn your place, and your name. This is known as The Clansman’s Right. When children of the clan come of age they are taken to a ring in the center of the camp and are given a weapon. Then members of the clan will one at a time enter the ring and will fight the young orc. The Vadok Rogtar understand a child is not likely going to be able to defeat full strength members of the clan, so the only goal an aspiring young orc much achieve is that they must do as much damage as possible to the attackers while they can still stand. Once fallen, the members of the clan who witnessed the right of passage will decide whether the child has earned their name, or is to be banished.Never conquered, always feared.
