Ido

Mistress of Murder

She is known as the Slayer Queen and the Mistress of Murder. She is the personification of murder, compulsive killers and death. Her symbol is an ornate dagger covered in blood. It is said that she arose to godhood by killing the previous embodiment of murder. She has killed thousands her mortal life, and now as an immortal has had thousands more killed in her name. Its claimed that Ido was an expert assassin in her mortal life, and has become a ideal goal for all professional killers.
Its easier to commit murder, than it is to justify it.

Relationships

A wholly evil, debased and sadistic god, Ido is reviled by a majority of the pantheon; her divine foes include Tiamat, Oneiros, The Raven Qeen and Turgon. 

Worshippers

The clergy of Ido in Jafare are known as Idonites. They believed that murder is both a duty to their god and a game for their own enjoyment. Each cleric of Ido is expected to perform at least one murder every two weeks, in the darkest moment in the dead of night.

Temple

Temples to Ido are hidden in the undergrounds of cities, due to open worship of her being outlawed by most societies. They are built to be sprawling mazes of dark stone and empty doors, this is so any victim taken by the clergy that may escape there bonds will have a very difficult time escaping the temple itself.
