Tusgrin Ironbrand
King of the Dwarves
"I keep my people safe, that is a kings first and final responsibility" -Tusgrin Ironbrand Tusgrin, son of Torvin is the 109th King of the mountain city and rules with an iron fist, something he actually has due to his bloodline, the Ironbrand legacy can be spotted by the shiny metallic looking arms and legs (it is supposed that the first king Thrawl was moulded out of iron by the god Dumathoin, or so it goes). Tusgrin is a noble dwarf who listens to his advising council, however he has been known to ignore they’re guidance in some instances.Clan Ironbrand
A very old clan, as old as dwarves can remember. Everyone agrees that the Ironbrands have been around for a very long time. Some say all dwarves originated with the Ironbrand clan, but the Ironbrands deny this, since no Ironbrand would ever turn his back on the clan to forge his own way. The Ironbrands are deeply hierarchical and had a complicated system of titles and social strata; individuals and families looking to change their station must very carefully do so by amassing wealth, marrying wisely, and avoiding stigmatizing scandals. The Ironbrand clan exclusively reside in the massive hollow mountain capital of Ironbrand and its satellite fortresses; social status decides how close you are to the centre and the top of the capital, or where you are relegated to the satellites. Despite the apparent inequality of social station, the stoic Ironbrand detest life outside of their mountain kingdoms and remain entrenched in the hierarchy games of Ironbrand, which is so populous and large that its braziers and halls light up the sky over the mountaintop at night as if it were a mighty volcano. The Clan sigil of the Ironbrand clan.
