There are several different writing styles in for Ailja. There are formal and informal ways to write letters, words, sentences, and paragraphs, and whole documents. As well as a different way for Cyber and Djiurd.

Words

Ailjia words are written in a circle that is read clockwise starting from the top letter. The orientation beyond that differs slightly if written in cyber script or Djurd script. Also in compound words the joiner word, or addon, is usual written with a smaller letter, the rules for what gets this treatment are a bit complex.
To indicate how many of a thing there are you write the number inside the circle. For plural without a number, the letter - is written small in the center.

How to write a word

Using NELuVIE as an example

Traditional

Traditionally it's written radiating outward at angles toward a center, similar to clock hands. The only scripts that don't use this method are Cyber and Djurd.

Djurd

In Djurd script they don't bother rotating or changing sizes. Some times they also write words upside down, aka starting at the bottom and going clockwise from there. Sometimes they mark when they do this and some times they don't.

Cyber

In Cyber script doesn't rotate the letters, and puts the joiner letters/words outside the main circle slightly

Sentences

Sentences by Lengna

Paragraphs

When writing a paragraph the second row starts down and to the left of the last sentence of the first row. The third row is down and to the right. They alternate for as long as there is page.
If that sentence is two long or short then start to the left(or right) of the next sentence. It is up to the writer's visual preference to decide what is too long or short. When typing digitally the program decides on a set proper distance, most programs will let you adjust this range.
Hand writing is considers an art form and takes planing in advance to make it look good when finished.

Scripts

Different groups write the alphabet in different ways. Some fonts are meant to be easily read from a distance while some are meant to be near illegible to people out side the group.

Cuhcil script

Used by everyone. If you are a professional in Bhcu Cuhcil you had better use this or no one will take you seriously. Most consistently used by Cuhcil Traditionalists, who sometimes refuse to even read documents if they are written in other scripts. Luckily most things are written digitally and can be easily converted.

Simple script

This is a slightly simplified version of the alphabet. Easier for children and quick notes. Used by everyone, expect Cuhcil Traditionalists.

Industrial script

Used most often for industrial/military equipment. Meant to be easier to read from a distance and simpler for engraving into metals. Not used in every day life as most find it inelegant and jarring to look at.

Cyber script

A highly stylized script used solely by Cybers. It was developed as a sort of rebellion from the mundane world. The center line in the normal scripts represents a groundedness to traditions they don't believe in, so the removed it and brought all the pieces together. This is meant to represent how connected you become when you remove the physical. (Its a bit pretentious really)

Djurd script

This script is a very simple, slightly sloppy, purposefully hard to read version of the simple script. Its used near exclusively by HavocBreakers. It's meant to be fast and informal, and it matches the Djiurd language very well. Typically hand written.

Numbers

Numbers by Lengna
The angle(or position) of the number determines its 10s place. For example to write 20 you simple write the number 2 in the 10's sopt. No need for more numbers unless you want 21-29. If you want 20-something without being specific add the generic number symbol in the 1s spot.
To go higher than than you add a modifier. The position of the symbol in the modifier circle indicates that many more 10s spaces. When that runs out you mover the circle down another around another slice.
Number Placement by Lengna
For precise large numbers another ring is added in a circular pattern spiraling inwards. As most calculations on huge numbers are done with a computer, you simply zoom in to view all the parts. Down and down like viewing a fractal.

To show negative numbers you add a circle in the center. To show decimals you add a modifier between the whole number and the decimal.
