Alrasham

The Alrasham are groups of nomads that travel The Akim carrying trade goods and animals. The Alrasham rely on a series of secret oases to provide respite from the oppressive desert sun. The Alrasham are a diverse group of people that include slavers, religious pilgrims, animal trainers, and traders, but they do have many unifying traits. While the nomad bands don't have formal leaders, the elders advise the band on both logistical and religious issues.   The Alrasham travel the Akim, a vast arid desert, as well as the dry grasslands of northern Akim'dovear.

Shared customary codes and values

The Alrasham claim to be simple people but it is no simple task to impress them. The Alrasham tend to avoid outsiders, but they see an informal alliance in other mortals against the brutal climate of the Akim and will go out of their way to help the helpless lost in the desert. The Alrasham value loyalty, simple living, and hardiness.   The most popular Gods among the Alrasham are those associated with the desert, survival, and travel. The most popular Gods among the Alrasham are:   Xihana, Goddess of Sense

Common Dress code

Alrasham dress is practical for the arid environment of the Akim. Baggy, breathable clothing typically of light colors permeate Alrasham dress. Rahkis skin is also quite common among the Alrasham as accents on clothing and as more rugged articles of clothing like gloves and shoes.

Common Myths and Legends

The Alrasham still speak of the days of the great Mossix Empire and its 5000 year long rule over Akim'Dovear. They tell of the stories of the empire's hubris and failure to recognize their Mortal brothers and sisters on Tukarsh as equals and allies before the First Coming of the End Times and, in doing so, nearly lost the entire world to The Trench.
