Haatiles, God of Ambition

Death Defiance Willpower

Divine Domains

Death   Mortals that seek out the power and wisdom of Haatiles do so because they wish to rise above their peers. Haatiles' faithful are ruthless in the pursuit of power.

Tenets of Faith

Death, Defiance, Willpower   These tenets are essential to the advancement of the individual and the subjugation of those lesser. The followers of Haatiles are often secretive about their beliefs, as the worship of the God of Ambition is seen as taboo or even illegal in the many sovereignties across Jeharr. His worship is no less popular among political elites and entrepreneurs.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Haatiles sees so much potential in Mortals, just the same as the potential that existed within himself. Haatiles sees the world as the ultimate proving ground for the Mortals that can rise to the top of their hierarchies. Haatiles also knows that he can do himself and his followers no greater service than to surround himself with the greatest and most clever of Mortals.   Haatiles often conflicts with other Gods as he tempts their followers with power and status in an attempt to bring them into his fold. Many Gods target one another's followers, but Haatiles is particularly successful at this, while managing to generally avoid the full wrath of his fellow Gods. Haatiles historically clashes the most with Prime and Paladora.

Consumption

The death of any of the Gods is something that has become extremely rare in the times since The Ascendant War, it is not, however, entirely unheard of. Haatiles is said to have at one point consumed a God named Duplis, the Old God of Deceit. Haatiles did this as a Mortal in a bid for godhood. This behavior has attracted the wary gaze of the other Gods, who risk both becoming victims and becoming overshadowed by Haatiles' power. Since that time, Haatiles is said to have sought out lesser divine beings in an attempt to consolidate their power but has not destroyed another God since his own ascension.
