Ellia Ghould never could resist a grift. She thought she had a natural ability for lying but the turned out to be supernatural. Mysterious forces aided her in being a young con woman. She was a sorcerer with a charge for manipulation. One curious power was her ability to see through the eyes of an owl.
Wherever this power came from she never knew. She got used to getting away with everything. That didn’t mean it didn’t come back to bite her. One too many lies forced her to be a run away as a child. She had a con man who was a partner who eventually became abusive. When she ran to Portsmouth she was initially doing three card monte on the street. Moorigan Neptys recognized her as an enchanted being that could sell his “miracle” elixir for him. She soon became the mysterious gnome alchemists apprentice. Being the mouth of a shy wizard who preferred to stay locked up in his laboratory.
Not long after she started working for Moorigan, Timothy Smythe saw her selling her wares and he soon befriended the young con woman and she regularly came around his den above Smythe’s laundry and is friends with all of the older set of Smythes miscreants
