Anatomy

Ability Score Increase

Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of green.

Tree Stride

Once on your turn, you can use 10 feet of your movement to step magically into one living tree within your reach and emerge from a second living tree within 60 feet of the first tree, appearing in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the second tree. Both trees must be Large or bigger.

Magic Resistance

You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Speech of Beast and Leaf

You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.

Biological Traits

Entirely biologically female race, but it is commonplace for dryads to present as nonbinary, and on rare occasion present as male.

Growth Rate & Stages

Dryads are considered young children from the age of 20.

They are considered young adults from the age of 35.

They are considered mature adults from the age of 135.

They usually retire at the age of 300.

Most Dryads die of natural causes by the age of 400.
