Dragon Classes of Jiharos

Note: Sizes displayed by icons are only somewhat accurate. Real size variation is much greater.
Carter: Used for general beast of burden activities, with no other specific purpose.
Courser: A class of land dragon that is primarily ridden and used as fast transportation but can sometimes be used as a beast of burden
Aqua: A small to medium acquatic dwelling dragon.
Terra: A land class dragon, other than a courser or a carter, often characterized by a larger size and primarily utilized as livestock guardians.
Hauler: A subcategory of aqua class dragons, used to pull boats or other cargo through water
Leviathan: A massive subtype of aqua dragon that often has entire ships built on top of it and can carry many people at once. Quite rare and their existence is controversial in many circles as their quality of life is rather low due to their forced servitude as a living sea-vessel.
Aerial: Flying class dragon with four legs.
Wyverns: Flying/gliding class dragons with two legs and wings.
Carriers: Largest of all dragons, these massive flying dragons are used to transport people from city to city, like commercial planes. Owned only by nobles or people with exceptional wealth.
Messengers: Any small class of flying dragon trained to deliver messages.
Domestic/pet: Small dragons owned as pets or for purposes like hunting or tracking. Not as common as falconry or dogs, but still around .
Destriers: Horse sized land dragons either used as a symbol of high class or as a war mount.
Wild: Dragons that have never been domesticated, comprises the majority of dragons. Referred to using subcategories.
Fabricated: Can be a subclass of any of the above dragons. Fabricated dragons are the result of blood magic, often with pitifully short lifespans (usually around 1/4 to a 1/3 of the lifespan of a natural dragon), and unstable, with aggressive temperaments. They're very common in wartimes due to their incredible maturation speed of only 6 months to a year.
