Bigheel Plateau

Bigheel Plateau is a broad expanse of land north of the town of Ludas Keda. It ends just south of the Sepufu Wetlands. Home to the The Orange River Alliance the Plateau contains the oasis of Barenhold .

The Bigheel Plateau is a large, elevated landmass located in the southwestern region of the Trampled Plains. With its distinct, towering presence, the Plateau is easily recognizable and serves as a natural landmark for travelers and settlers alike. The Plateau is characterized by its broad, dusty expanses and dramatic cliffs that overlook the surrounding desert and plains. The Bigheel Plateau is also home to a number of unique geological formations, including towering rock formations and extensive cave systems.
Despite its harsh and seemingly inhospitable landscape, the Bigheel Plateau is home to a thriving ecosystem, including diverse plant and animal life, many of which are found nowhere else in the Trampled Plains. This is largely due to the presence of the Oasis of Barenhold, which provides a vital source of water and sustenance for both the local wildlife and the residents of the Orange River Alliance.
Barenhold, the center of commerce and governance for the ORA, is built around this Oasis and serves as the hub of trade and diplomacy for the various tribes that make up the alliance.
