Abd Rabbuh

Abd Rabbuh was a former slave turned Caliphal captain.
Abd Rabbuh's original name has long been lost to time. Whatever it had been, it was deemed unimportant as his new name was to show his new life as a part of the faithful. He was a young man when the Caliph and his fleet arrived at his planet, Nova Tyre. As was the fate of most nations which resisted the Caliphate, Abd Rabbuh and many of his countrymen were made into slaves. Fortunately for Abd Rabbuh, his fate as a slave lay upon the ships of the Caliphal fleets and not in the planetside mines.
Over the years, Abd Rabbuh would rise through the ranks due to his diligence and skill- eventually catching the eye of Abu al-Khilafa himself. Eventually converting to Islam, he would be granted his new name by the Caliph and become one of his trusted captains.
