Augrulach

Augrulach is a demon who yet resides in Johorne, although he has long since been trapped.
Appearing in Johorne by 1078 A.K. at the very latest, although possibly many years earlier, he was seemingly drawn to, or contacted by, a member of The Lost Children who had fallen into madness. Tormented by his consumption of souls imprints to extend his life, the man had started to lose himself. At some point he contacted the demon, and he used Augrulach in order to retrieve Ethel Mezezi and the Soul Hammer which she had stolen from him, and which he needed in order to "feed."
Augrulach was able to retrieve his commanded goals, but Sezzlic Denk rescued his ward and put an end to the old man's cruelty and his life. Augrulach had supported the man to further what suffering he could inflict on the world. Bereft of his tool of torment, he took revenge on the young pair. Fortunately, the now emptied Soul Hammer was able to be wielded to capture Augrulach within it, thus trapping him- although he has still been able to wield some effect on those near him.

Physical Description

Body Features

Augrulach is blacker than pitch, so that one has difficulty in making out his shape. He bears two wings which, when opened up, seem to blacken the sky. His head is sharp, almost triangular, and is adorned by a reddened cranial ornament resembling a leafless tree. In moments of emotion the crest brightens, as if the tree is alight.
His broad chest thins out to his waist, from which two robust legs stretch ending in didactyl digitigrade claws in the fore, with a powerful and dexterous dewclaw in the rear.

Facial Features

Augrulach's face is deep and dark, not as if wielding a snout but plainly not human.
