Citadel of Viling

The citadel of Viling is the historical center of the city, and was the residence of the city's governance since its first inhabitance.
The structure itself is pre-apocalyptic and was likely sought after by the tribesmen around it due to its provided safety. As with most pre-apocalyptic structures, the citadel of Viling is incredibly durable, and its material is not fully understood even yet by the middle of the 18th century.
The citadel itself is located along the Iorgy river, allowing great access the traffic moving downstream from Lake Trioni. This, in part, helped to secure the strength of the city and to allow it to develop a strong state.
