The Spat of Lake Trioni

A border skirmish between two cities in Legan came to a peaceful end after a parley was brokered between the two parties by Ethel Mezezi.

The Conflict

Prelude

The Prince of Viling seized a town within Belkush's protection. This action led to the standoff of the two cities' forces on the eastern side of Lake Trioni.

The Engagement

King Aybeedef and his forces of Belkush manage to outmaneuver prince Ion of Viling, trapping him and his army in poor circumstances. This situation brings prince Ion and his men to negotiate.

Outcome

After being trapped in a valley with no access to food or water, prince Ion of Viling decided to parley with king Aybeedef of Belkush. Aybeedef was initially intent on extracting damaging concessions from his rival, essentially destroying his position in exchange for the lives of his men. However, on the advice of Ethel Mezezi, daughter of the Seduni queen Isora Mezezi, whose word he respected, Aybeedef instead assented to much lighter terms in tandem with collateral that was to be given as a guarantor of prince Ion following through on the deal.
