Anatomy

The Spread are something like a fungus, it would seem. They grow in parts that are functional in both small segments and larger collections, to different degrees. It would stand to reason such, as the Spread, after all, is a hive-mind. It is usually difficult to study the Spread, as they often perish soon after falling into enemy hands, likely purposefully.
