Harpoon (Ankamooran)

Restrictions: Ankamooran cultural background A harpoon is a broad-bladed spear forged with barbs. The shaft of the harpoon has 60ft of trailing rope attached, to control harpooned opponents. Though designed for hunting whales and other large sea creatures, the harpoon can be used on dry land.   Two Handed   Heavy   Special   Ranged (30/60)   1D8 Piercing damage   If an attack lands with this weapon, the metal harpoon impales itself and latches onto the creature. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, when the attack hits, or as a bonus action on subsequent turns while the harpoon is lodged in the creature, you may force the creature into a Strength contest and it is pulled up to 10ft towards you on a failure. If a Large or smaller creature attempts to move more than 60ft away from you while impaled, it must succeed on a Strength contest to move as if in rough terrain and you are pulled along with it if you continue to hold on. A Huge or larger creature can move freely and you are dragged with it if it moves out of range and you keep holding on.   An impaled creature can use its action to make a DC 14 Strength check to remove the harpoon and takes 1d4 piercing damage upon removing it.
