Tatch Snails
Tatch snails were quite large predatory molluscs whose native range included the Summer Islands and portions of Thrask.
Their salivary glands were prized for the intense analgesic compounds that could be distilled from them into the drug and medicine known as Tatch Resin.

Anatomy
Approximatle 3 feet tall, 1 foot wide and 3 feet long, the Tatch had a snubbed conical shell, a footpad and a long, rapidly extendable grinding proboscis
