"Hitokiri" Sakakibara

Mass Murderer

Clad in a dark robe and a Noh mask, Sakakibara was a mass murderer who terrorized the people of Tengoku. Once the samurai began cracking down on him, he fled Tengoku and at some point joined forces with the Disciples of the Yonkishi. Since then, he has crossed paths with the party several times, always managing to stay a step ahead of them. Sakakibara is responsible for the deaths of at least 9 victims in Tengoku, the entire population of Gunma, and Banshou Katsuhiko.

An (Un)Ordinary Man

Sakakibara views the war as nothing more than a game that will decide which species is truly worthy of being dominant. He has no attachment to the human race, nor does he have any real loyalty to the Yonkishi. Sakakibara wants to know which side the world will choose. The resolve of one side against the other. Will against will. Life against life. Two sides staking their very beings on the outcome of the war.

Former Kyotouryu Wielder

Sakakibara was the wielder of the Kyotouryu: Akutō Bita until his death in Taki Hoshi during the Taki Hoshi liberation.
