The Saint of Tranquility, Saiha el-Ryugamine
Ruler of Tengoku
The Saint of Tranquility, and one of the Ten Saints of Babylon, Saiha was a kind, peace-loving man. A just ruler, he was respected and admired by peasant and noble alike. His apprentice, Tao-Ren el-Nagaoka is equally respected, particularly by the Samurai; her skill in hand-to-hand combat is rivaled only by her beauty.Saint of Babylon
Saiha was one of ten Saints, handpicked by Gilgamesh, the King of Babylon and King over all Kings. Each Saint is given sovereignty over a section of Ormodinia and may rule as they see fit, with little to no influence from Gilgamesh. Master Onmyouji
Saiha single-handedly pioneered the art of Onmyoudo in Kōryō. He was a master of offensive, defensive, ritual based, and sealing Ofuda. His immense skills attracted the attention of many powerful Yokai who sought him out, seeking to defeat him and feast on his corpse. Saiha faced each and every one of his Yokai challengers in combat, defeating them and earning their respect with many of them even pledging allegiance to him as contracted Ayakashi. Among these Yokai was the proud and haughty Kyuubi Asuramaru. After many bouts, and many failed invitations, Asuramaru finally acknowledged Saiha's strength and pledged himself to him as his most powerful Ayakashi. Together with his Ayakashi, Saiha fought against the Yonkishi during the First Great Yokai War and succeeded in sealing them into the land at the cost of many of his friends and allies.
