Writer's Mission Statement

What will the core elements of my story be?

Daezin is a refugee who is gods-touched but refuses to believe in magic. She just wants to be left alone and protect Hefler... she wants to maintain the status quo. Her primary obstacle is that she has accidentally triggered her magic gift and their new home is under threat of invasion/war. If she doesn't learn to control her gifts and believe in her destiny, Corethe will fall and Hefler (and other members of her found family?) will die or be doomed.

What kind of writer will I be?

I write immersive fantasy that transports my readers out of their mundane lives into new worlds and adventures. Real relationships and emotions ground my worlds of magic and wonder.

I have a vivid imagination and a quirky sense of humor that will bring out interesting details and a sense of fun in my story.
