The Creation

The only thing that was before time was the Goddess Iea, The Creatrix. She existed as a massive ball of energy, floating in the cosmic sea. But she became lonely after all that time, and began to dream. She dreamed of the universe, its beauty and diversity, and what she saw made her jump and quiver with joy, until finally she exploded into a billion shards of light. Those shards became her vision, creating the planes, the gods, and the peoples of the world.
