Mistress Ifanda
Ifanda is a diplomat of House Orloi. She was originally sent to The Low Keep to negotiate an arrangement for Marsh-Sifters to explore the The Genlith Marsh in search of alchemical ingredients. Trained in ritual magic she has a small library of esoteric research and is adept at performing ritual magic in the House Orloi tradition. Her eyesight was already failing at the time of her arrival in Genlith and she used a companion Owl as an occasional sensory aid.
She was at that time attended by her bodyguard Orlik Redsash who has since been recalled to Orloi
Since her first duty ended she has remained in Genlith as an unofficial ambassador, first to Count Phoitios and later to his successor, Count Adriel.
Assisting the latter in the struggle against the shade of Fendrel, Ifanda overstretched her magical resources and her sight failed, and her companion-owl was slain. She has since gained a new younger owl to bond with and will use it as her surrogate sense of sight.
