Thurimgard

A powerful merchant prince and former pirate, a man with a ruthless reputation as a foe who will spare nobody in his pursuit of power and wealth. He amassed enough money and influence over the course of five years as a pirate plundering trade between Kaevil and the Spice Lands that he eventually had enough power to come to the House Malmor and make a pitch for official rank and status and protecting the sea lanes. Under his governance trade has flourished. He is doing similar deals with the Spice Landers and takes them slaves illegally from the north.
His wealth is a powerful contributor the Malmor coffers and he is financing some of their operations in the north.
