Kahmarak

A billion years ago, Earth was called "Kahmarak" by its inhabitants. Seven kingdoms existed on a supercontinent known as "Rodinia." These kingdoms lived in a fragile peace because each one lives in an area that none of the other kingdoms really wants.   What was Earth like a billion years ago? What kinds of intelligent beings existed there at that time? How advanced were they? It's been so long, there wouldn't be any archaeological evidence of them in modern times. What must that world have contained? A kleptocratic goblin empire? Insular elves? Bureaucratic bugbears?   I feel it is my duty to use my imagination to speculate wildly.
