Helm
Helm, also known as the Vigilant One and The Watcher, is the god of guardians, protection, and protectors. He is worshipped by guards and paladins both, long being seen as a cold and focused deity who impartially takes the role of defender and sometimes also enforcer.
Worshipers
Helm is most commonly worshiped by guards, fighters, paladins, clerics, and mercenaries. The oldest references to Helmites indicate a long standing respect and reverence for their dedication and purpose, especially in the frontiers of the North. They unfailingly pledge to come to the defense of those who call for it.
They wear polished full suits of armor, often enchanted as everbright, and typically wear plumed helmets. Their hierarchy is strict and militaristic, with specific groups such as the order of paladins called the Vigilant Eyes of the God, and originally also a single pontiff as head of the church—the Supreme Watcher. However, there has not been someone in that post since [TBD].

Faenor
Helm’s clerics are known as faenor, which translates as "those of the home". Faenor serve as the guardians and protectors of Celestial aligned clans. They archive the lore, traditions, and family histories of their people. By acting as teachers and healers, they aim to further the good health and good character of their people. Serving as a moral compass, they can be very conservative and they do not tolerate foolhardiness and controversial ideas in young members of their congregations. Their patience is definitely taxed by their dwindling numbers.
In the rigid church structure, every cleric knows their place, and every clan with a church is built to look alike. This is done so visitors from other clans know exactly where they fit in. Helm runs his church like a strict, but loving father.
Rarely do faenor follow alternative paths, and the few who do usually become fighters and Celestial algined defenders.
Rituals
The faenor pray for spells at dawn. They organize many mundane rituals for their communities, but are best known for their marriages. Their reputation in organizing marriage ceremonies is so widespread that even some non-Helmites asked a faenor to conduct their marriage rite. Each year, offerings of silver are made to Helm, usually coupled with a small white flower so as to show appreciation for Helm’s fatherly love towards all Celestial followers.

Virtues & Personality perks
A very old deity, Helm is the eternal sentry and is always seen wearing a full suit of armor that represents the weight of his heavy responsibility. Yet Helm always gets the job at hand done without complaint. The Celestial aligned people of the Material Plane widely admire these qualities in what they see as a humble and reassuring god. He is particularly fond of children, and often forgives their minor transgressions. He uses his skills in negotiation and his calm demeanor as a way to keep the Celestial pantheon unified when tensions rise. Traditionalist followers claim that these qualities are the reason way any of the remaining Celestial aligned civilizations still stand.
