Lionshield Coster

Hanging above the front door of this modest trading post is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it.

This building is owned by the Lionshields, a merchant company based in the city of Barrath, to the east. They ship finished goods to Malginess and other small settlements throughout the region.

The master of the Malginess post is a sharp-tongued tiefling woman of thirty-five named Linene Graywind. She is assisted by her daughter, Minghee Graywind. They do not live on-site, but in a home just west of the trading post.

Services

The store serves as an outpost and delivery point for caravans run by the Lionshield Coster, and specializes mostly in providing the people of Malginess with finished goods, horses, armor, weapons, and other adventuring equipment. It is perhaps the only place in town where adventurers can sell valuable treasures for reasonable prices, although the rates are much lower than in Kachmorah.

Architecture

It is a modest building. Above the front door is a weathered wooden sign in the shape of a shield on which was painted a blue lion. Armor and weapons were stored in a back room to keep them out of the hands of any who might wish harm upon the town of Malginess.
