Stonehill Inn

In the center of town stands a large, newly built roadhouse of lime mortar and sandstone. The common room is filled with locals nursing mugs of ale or wine, all of them eyeing you with curiosity.

Location

The modest inn is located close to the center of town. It is one of the largest buildings in the village.

Atmosphere

The villagers of Malginess, from miners to farmers, enjoy relaxing in the common room, which has become a good place to hear local gossip and stories. The inn is kept neat and clean, and is a generally pleasant place to visit.

The inn features an Oaken bar with large barrels that line the walls. It feels homely, with a scent that blends savory cooking spices and the sweetness of baklava. The owner's giant dog is a staple here, with its one albino eye. It can usually be found gnawing on a troll bone. The security level is middling - while there isn't much of anyone around to stop conflict, this location doesn't tend to attract poor behavior. The inn's wealth is about average, so prices are what one would commonly expect.

Services

The Stonehill Inn is owned by Toblen Stonehill, who operates it alongside his wife Trilena Stonehill and with help from his son Pip Stonehill. Toblen has a modest level of influence in the region.

The inn provides six rooms for rent on the upper floor, plus alcoholic beverages and food. A bed is five silver pieces a night, and prices are fairly standard for food, ale, and cider, with meals coming to about 1 silver piece. A barmaid called Elsa serves drinks at the bar.
