The Nimble Drunkard is well around Trisza known for its rowdy atmosphere and free flowing alcohol.

Architecture

Exterior

In the north eastern quadrant of Trisza, located on the market square close to the university that is often visited by the local students. The facade of The Nimble Drunkard is wide and spans almost one whole side of the market square. By looking at it, it quickly becomes clear that the building is not made to be one building, but, in fact, is made up of about three separate store fronts, each with their own style of construction. Besides the middle door, both others are barricaded with wood and have a sign that directs the guests to the right entryway. The mishmash of windows varies from small, frosted over once on the left, to wide open ones that show the interior of The Nimble Drunkard. On either side of the front facade are small fences to separate the jumbled mess of the taverns front from that of the neighboring shops. Between the fences are a couple of small round tables with chairs, neither the tables, nor the chairs match each other, making it only more of a cohesive mess.

Interior

When looking through the bigger windows on the right side of the tavern a dimly lit interior can be seen. It is a big space with several support pillars framing a clearly lit open floor in the middle. Around the open floor are various tables and seating areas almost crammed into the walls to make enough space. Going directly left after entering the building will show the bar, which holds a healthy selection of alcoholic, and some non-alcoholic, drinks. The walls are lined with dark colored wooden planks and have a lot of writing along the bottom half of the walls. Various names and messages are written or carved into the wood of both the walls and the tables. While the floor used to have a similar color, it is now stained and darkened from heavy use. The seating spaces inside, similar to the ones outside, don't match each other and are in various stages of almost broken. It is safe to assume that the staff doesn't bother keeping the interior cohesive with the amount of clients and the amount of alcoholic beverages they see every day.

Patronage

After the lessons at The Gallowyn Institute for Martial and Arcane Training have ended The Nimble Drunkard becomes packed with students. At the back of the building is a stage for bards to perform and liven up the atmosphere with their crafts. When the first couple of drinks have been had, students will slowly start to gather on the big empty floor to dance through the evening.
