Budling
An adorably fluffy and cuddly pet that breeds rapidly. It is loved for how affectionate and cuddly it is to its owners, as well as for its delicious eggs. It is hated for how quickly its population can explode out of control
Basic Information
Anatomy
- 4 short legs
- 1 large eyeball
Biological Traits
This creature has very poor survival instincts. It's only real instincts are to run from predators, eat food, and huddle in warmth. The only reason it has survived as long as it has, is because of the rate that it reproduces. Eggs require no supervision to survive, and hatch in as little time as 1 month. Females lay eggs every once every week usually. A female will simply lay an egg, and then abandon it. If a male happens to find an egg, the male will fertilize it on instinct.
The reason they are commonly kept as pets is because of how cuddly they are. Despite being stupid, they are capable of recognizing faces, remembering their name, and being toilet trained. When kept as a pet, they are usually neutered/spayed. However, females are sometimes left alone so that their eggs can be farmed. Their eggs are a tasty treat for Kairothians.
