Camp Righteous

You come upon an abandoned riverside camp strewn with wreckage. The tents are moldy and tattered, and all the permanent structures appear to have burned to the ground. Two intact rowboats are tied off to a short dock. North of the camp is a ridge, built into which is an 80-foot-tall stone statue carved to look like a man with a crocodile on his back. Between the statue's feet is a stone archway leading to a dark tunnel. To the left of the statue is a crude animal pen with a small, panicked bird running around inside it. There are no other signs of life.
When the Alnswick Infantry first brought its war against the undead to Zultica, its members established this base camp around an ancient Zultican shrine, which local guides call the House of the Crocodile. The soldiers were curious to see what was inside but found the traps of the ruins to still be active, overcoming their attempts to plumb the shrine's secrets. The visitors neglected to build defenses around the camp, unaware of the night warms of the undead. A couple of months ago, they were overrun when hundreds of undead swarmed out of the jungle into the camp. Only a handful of soldiers escaped to what would become Camp Vengeance.   The camp is being watched by a party of Batiri goblins, lead by the boss Yokka. The mask-wearing goblins are wary of the shrine, which they think is cursed, though Yokka seeks the treasure believed inside.

Camp Vengeance

Through the foliage, you see a crude timber fortification -- a walled compound with watchtowers and tents inside it, encircled by a ditch bristling with sharpened stakes. A large gatehouse faces the river, on the shore of which are four rowboats tied ot a wooden post. Scattered around the fort are piles of charred human corpses and flayed animal carcasses swarming with flies.
A handful of Alnswickian soldiers escaped the undead onslaught against Camp Righteous by retreating down the River Soshen star toward the Aldani Basin. They ended their retreat by diggin in on this spot, and they've since received reinforcements.   The small, original camp has been transformed intoa fortified base far more capable of withstanding attack than Camp Righteous ever was. However, unwholesome vapoprs and clouds of insects make life miserable for the soldiers, and constant battle and interactions with the undead have left them disease-ridden and exhausted.   The soldier in charge is Nigel Breakbone. He leads a contingent of 58 people.

Wreck of the Star Goddess

A wooden vessel is caught high in the tree branches, broken into three chunks. It resembles a ship, but there are differences that mark it clearly as not a seagoing vessel. The stern is the lowest piece, hanging precariously by its rigging about 50 feet above the ground. The middle section appears to be 15 feet higher, and the bow section is firmly wedged into a nest of branches another 10 feet above that. A weak voice calls out, "Hallo, on the ground. Can you help us?"
The Star Goddess was a 90-foot skyship that flew like a blimp thanks to a lighter-than-air gasbag. Manned by Xethian pirates, the ship was attacked by a flock of pterafolk, who slashed the airbag, sending the blimp plummeting. It impacted into the jungle canopy, breaking into three pieces.   There are several crash survivors aboard the ship, though they aren't doing so well. Most of the cargo has also been spilled to the ground.   The party is attacked by Undead Scavengers, who have come to steal what remains aboard the ship.
