During Thriss Valdiiryn's orientation, he noticed that a hobgoblin academy officer supervising the unloading of a merchant ship on the Sky Dock surreptitiously slipped a tiefling merchant a platinum piece. In return, the tiefling merchant handed the hobgoblin a small bottle, which he concealed in his pocket.

Thriss later learned from Winston Ryeback that the hobgoblin's name is Oknorg, and that he is "a good shit." Ryeback confided that a lot of "the good stuff" in the bar comes from Oknorg.
