Goblin

A hidious creature of the mountain caverns. These hordes are well known for thievery and hoarding. Goblins spend majority of their time in caverns squabbling over food or fighting over shiny loot. They do have the ability to forge their own weapons out of dull metals from the deep. They are hated by all races, a goblin on its own does not stand much of a chance but in great numbers can swarm you in an instance leaving your looted corps behind. There is little discipline within their ranks for them to plan strategic warfare they prefer to swarm until they get what they want. Loosing many numbers in the process but can just as quickly regain them due to mass breading and short life expectancy. A goblin can live for 50 years most die from disease or combat more than often and don't make this age. Years of Interbreeding has made them weak. But there are some strong amongst them these rally the runts who empty headedly follow without thought willing to kill and steal for the thrill. They live off the fish of the deep caverns and have been known to eat pretty much any beast or being that is unfortunate to cross their path.

Origin

Goblins were believed to have come due to the greed of the dwarves digging too deep it is rumored they have always lived deep within the caverns. Fighting amongst them selves over food and space kept their numbers short. But ever since breaking free have expanded in numbers and formed numerous hordes. Thirst recording of goblins can be found in the dwarven archives, there was a fifth kingdom which has been long forgotten and was swarmed with no remains but an empty ruined stronghold formaly known as the Rocktook Point. It now goes by the name of Goblin Crag. Nobody dare set foot there due to their shier number. Goblins are able to pretty much live in any temprement, withstanding scorching temperatures and freezing winters. But they do not accomidate more or less clothing forcing their skin to change due to years of being exposed to extreme weather conditions. They prefer the dwarven halls due to them being spaceious and full of loot and shinny objects for the taking.

Subraces

Snow Peak Goblins

Goblins of the snowy peaks have the same mentality as any other of its race they only differ in colour. They are a blue colour due to being exposed to the low tempartures. They are slightly taller than others of their kin. They are just a little taller than a 10 year old human child and can easily be mistaken for one in the dark due to their lims being longer and waist slimmer.

Mountain Goblins

Mountain Goblins are the traditional green they are the most common goblin to be seen if you ever venture deep into the mountains. These particular breed prefer to enbed themselves in mountains that are not in colder climates and populate majority of the known mounatins in the realm.
