The Succession War are a good as done with no clear victor.

The wars had extracted a heavy toll with the loss of many Ashnoorian lives from both Kingdom and Empire forces. Both populations were clearly decimated. Those that survived had no choice but to flee to the safety of the south as the Erayax Horde assumed full and brutal control over the lands in the north.   To the Southeast, the Kingdom of Geldheim settled in Bannockthorpe. To the south west, the Hadovean Empire made Mirthstone their capital.   The lands in between both factions and the Erayax horde were left to fend for themselves, many evolving into local rule. From here, over the first 2 centuries or so, expansion was slow and of minor significance.
