The Duke of Moridale announces the completion of the fortification and expansion of Dragonspan

The Duke of Moridale announced the completion of the fortification and expansion of Dragonspan to much fanfare.

Dragonspan, which straddles the Escondida river at the mouth of Lake Moridale does not rival the size and majesty of Pont to the south, it exceeds it by a considerable margin was the boast Duke of Moridale during an hour long speech celebrating the achievement.

Making reference to the size and strength of the defences surrounding Dragonspan, the Duke decalred that in the “unlikely” event of any attack coming from the East on Moridale, they would find Dragonspan to be an impenetrable obstacle that would be impossible to overcome. Although not naming their ‘friends’ the Kingdom of Geldheim directly, the memory of failed Kingdom advances into the eastern territory of the Duchy of Moridale only a small number of years back has not been forgotten by the people and the Duke was well aware that making such a statement would only solidify his popularity amongst his people
