Treaty at Knife (The Knife accord):

The first formal treaty between the humans and other races is signed. A first of its kind in known history, this ultimately led to further massive advances in culture, technology and expansion.
  Despite the wide spread popularity and overall appeal of the Accord there was some decension. However, almost despite this, in less than one generation signs of formerly wary and desperate races formed aliances around work, farming, community and, of course, military service. This flourished over the next several generations bringing us to modern times.
