Grand duchy, Duchys, Earldoms
The territory ruled by an Arch duke or Arch duchess on behalf of the emperor.
It is then broken up into smaller Duchys or sometimes called Earldoms. These are each ruled in turn by houses, noble families in the favor of the Emperor.They rule their given provinces under the guidance of the grand duke.
These titles are all hereditary but can also be given by the royal court as well as taken away.
Most Houses have lineage dating back to Notime.
