Halo woods

These woods are covered in strange metal rings that grow around the trees. It is unsure of the exact purpose but experiments have been attempted to take them off.When one does the tree rapidly ages and dries up dieing within hours.
The rings have been removed but they too age and become rust within hours but only if they are moved outside of the forest boundary's.
The Amber Order have taken this as a sign of Rontras work and have successfully petitioned the crown to have these woods declared sacred. In 172AN the Throne made this law and it is now illegal to damage the woods in anyway. It is also illegal to build settlements not approved by the order.
