Hommlet

The Valley of Elmast was held by the Horned one over a century ago.His demonic forces combined with Uruk blades were the last strong hold of evil on the Eldorian continent.The Eldorian army was sent to the valley on three crusades to stop his great evil from flowing over the lands. It was the third crusade that sent him to his final redoubt in a massive complex near Nulb.It was there that the last stand was held and he was defeated then by the holy alliance of Khazadur Dwarves, Amber Elves and Eldorian knights.
During this time Hommlet was but a supply depot for the armies as they asssulted the horned ones strong hold.
The battle lasted years with both sides claiming victoy again and again,until one of the Crusaders known as Cuthbert entered the temple and struck down the horned one, banishing him and his minions to the darkness.But not until the evil one struck out one last time, causing a horrible, fatal wound, that the holy one would not be able to heal.
His Death made him a symbol and it is said that his body turned to light and was collected by Teraks celestial soldiers and taken to the heavens.
A church was raised on the spot where his body died and from there the town of Hommlet grew.
The church became a pilgrimage over the years as his name grew to saint hood.
The Village remained a bastion of hope as the lands slowly returned from the coruption of the horned ones touch.
Today, Hommlet is a pleasant village with a good amount of trade and talented locals. The ruins of the horned one have become a beacan for adventurers as they seek out anciant artifacts.
