Duke Winston Boreal (a.k.a. Bull of the North)

A true Soldier. Winston comes from a long line of Soldiers,non of which were considered of "noble" blood. 23 years ago Winston was a Captain of the watch and won many victories agasint the Blight along the shores. Even was part of a reclamation of an artifact across the Arkanshan for the Grand Duke.This object was a device to open gates. He used this device to return from the blighted lands to a secret chamber in the Palace at Helkirk.
The legend goes that his men were stuck in a tower far into the blighted lands and were surrounded by the walking dead. He used the device and it took him and his remaining few men back to Helkirk. Arriving in the great Cathedral during a ceremony right on the altar.
Turns out the Altar was in fact a portal and has since been removed. Rumor has it that it was sent back to the Capitol.
This event proved to the Grand duke of his loyalty and worth. He was knighted and made Duke of Trenton, his stubbornness and tenacity to to what needs to be done made the choice of a bull as his standard a fitting one. The Red river was added for the loss of his men and the 4 spears of gold are for his victories in battle.
From that day forward he has turned the defense along the south shore into what it is today.
