The Horned one
In the confusion of Notime, there was total chaos in the already chaotic hordes of the Uruk. The Forces of Eldoria and their knights were unstoppable and were able to reclaim much of the stolen lands in rapid campaigns.
It was in the eastern lands now known as Elmast where a powerful warlord united many of the lost and panic stricken Uruk.In the valleys of Elmast he made his stand as of the years 23AN
Vast fortresses along the rough terrain were already used by the Uruk for years before and were well suited to defense. The mounted knights were unable to root them out and their numbers grew.They grew so fast that it was a tipping point in the reclamation wars.
Descriptions of the horned one vary, but all agree that he was a male and had the head of a beast and wings,His eyes were glowing pits of hatred and were five in number.His magic was unfathomable. Some Scholars believe he was in fact Kador in mortal shape.
The valleys were filled with blood,as armies were sent in to defeat the horned warlord.At the same time, his armies were paralyzed to cross the Hruesen River as each foray into the west was met with disaster.If he continued to stay in power and gather his strength then the Uruk would surely wash over the Eldorian empire once again.
It was obvious an army could not invade the Elmast valley but small groups of heroic individuals could. The Emperor sent out small groups again and again. So many died in his service but after dozens of losses finally one such group succeeded.
Little is known of the battles raged in the emperors name as the hero's that defeated him never returned. Instead the valley exploded in fire and smoke covering the land in darkness for three years.They are called the Valley Knights and the five have been immortalized in the towns across the land. Dodle,Presham,Creton,Luton and Quat.Each city pays tribute to their memory during Valley week.
When Eldorian agents probed the lands, they discovered not a unified Uruk but a scattered and disorientated lot. These were easy pickings as the horned ones magic was nowhere in sight.The Eldorians reclaimed the valley lands over the next three years back up to the Fallow Hills where the Uruk control to this day.
