The scrolls of Isiv are incomplete to say the least, but the ones that have been found are the oldest written records of civilization before the events of Notime.
The contents tell the history of the gods and creation. These have become sacred text for the Great church and canon for its laws. While Endoria uses these scripts to claim lands as their own others say they are forgeries.
At the time of the battle of Fell-bridge mankind was in retreat, what little knowledge that scholars were able to retrieve and bring with them on the trek from the capitol was small considering how much there must have been in Eldoria central.They made the way from the center to the coastline where retreat was inevitable.
Many books were lost at the great libraries.While the Scrolls of Isiv have been so well guarded , so many have been lost. What has been preserved has been translated and the originals hidden where only the supreme heads of the Great church know where.
The scrolls tell of the golden age, some lineages as well as a few great houses.
The emperor has offered huge sums of gold for old books from pre-Notime.
