the unknown soldier

The man or woman that took the initiative single handedly turning history around.It is unclear who he/she was or from what kingdom, even human or elf. What is known is that he/she charged unbeatable odds with a shattered blade and died in the battle. The body never to be found. The broken blade ignited in holy light and slew not only Daak but many of his warriors before dieing.
Since that time, the unknown soldier has become a symbol for the common soldier. A name to whisper before any desperate battle. The broken blade is held as divine and many soldiers will use a discarded hilt as a symbol of courage. Rarely will a Knight carry any of these symbols as they prefer to think it more for the common soldier then a noble Knight as it is believed the Order itself won the day not the unknown soldier.
This belief has been the cause of most rifts and arguments between the two.
