Kalan

People all experience the world differently. That's just a fact of life. Like the sun rises and sets each day. But some chase that difference. Others choose not. Kalan is a world of vast cultures - the modern Ugane with their budding empire, the quiet Otlera along the river and their neighbours - the legalistic sun-worshiping Asfye people groups. Further to the east lie the peoples of Pani Puri and Hizi Pas with their merchant kingdoms and inclination to pacifism or the mountain dwelling matriarchal Chershe.   However, with a new millenium on the horizon and a rapidly changing world, who's to say that everything is as peaceful as it seems? Defintely not the travellers who see it all firsthand.
