Violet Shard

The Violet Shard, sometimes called the "Wayfinder Shard", or the "Shard of the Path", is known to be one of the hardest to wield. Its power is to lead the user to the item they need the most. It works as a locator, getting warmer/colder or shining brighter/dimmer with each moment closer to the users goal. However, this may not always work out to the users benefit as it sometimes adopts its own goals and seeks them as well. In some rare cases, the wielder has been able to tame the gem and ask it for something specific - but this is very draining (Costs 4 FP for a simple goal, 10 FP for a long-term one).

Some records have stated that the user of the Wayfinder Shard must be someone who rejects the paths set before him and changes the status quo. Only those who truly think for themselves can hear the calling of this gem, and when it does reach out it ALWAYS tempts its prospective owner with whatever they most desire. Its voice can be heard from miles away, and if one is to wield such a gift, this one must not give into greed.

If the Shards were a human body, the Purple Shard would be the senses of the group - keeping the rest alerted to where they are and where they need to be going.
