Dragon

Beasts of scales, wings, claws, and the sheer raw elemental force of nature. Dragons are exceedingly rare, but each one is rumoured to be uniquely tied to the world. Little is known about the creatures that doesn't come from myths, legends, and fearful survivors of the occasional attack.
What is known is that their arrival heralds natural disasters and calamity alike, and the stories disagree on whether they should be slain, appeased, or merely avoided at all costs. They do display frightening knowledge beyond that of several of the wisest sapient individuals on Kaliij, and their hoards are the stuff of legend. It is said by some that dragons take it upon themselves to remove dangerous artifacts from mortal hands, or that they gather the worst magical and mundane objects for their own personal use. Whatever the truth may be, where dragons fly, the world will change.
